Manila, Philippines) The all-American toasted sub restaurant, Quiznos Philippines, announces the addition of rice bowl meals to its menu. The local franchise is the first Quiznos restaurant out of 40 regions globally to offer rice meals to its list of food offerings.
The arrival of the rice bowl meals aims to meet the demand of Filipinos for a traditional, staple meal, which chiefly includes rice. The menu expansion is indicative of Quiznos’ commitment to provide dishes that are close to the hearts of its local customers.
“Rice and Filipinos are two things you cannot separate, and in terms of rice consumption, the Philippines places as the 6th largest in the world”, says Dr. Amable Aquiluz IX, CEO of the ACA Group. “This is the reason why it’s important for our brand to offer rice meals, as we understand that Filipinos always look for a local dish they can relate to in every restaurant they visit.”
The new rice bowl meal has five varieties including Chicken and Mushroom, Braised Beef, Beef in Soy Lemon Sauce, Chicken Oriental, and the all-local flavor of the Chicken and Pork Adobo. Each bowl is served hot and tasty, and in generous portions, priced at P115.
Quiznos is keen on expanding its business, as Amable Aguiluz IX confirms that by January 2013, 10 stores are set to open in Metro Manila alone. This is on target with the 50-store expansion program for next year, in which the ACA Group had allocated 500 million to open the new restaurants.
Visit Quiznos at One Parkade in Bonifacio High Street, Greenbelt 3, and Alabang Town Center. Soon to open branches in Eastwood, Katipunan, and Shangri-La Mall.
